TBS WACS & ACE Student Convention Competitions:
Trinity Baptist School will be participating in Fine Arts and Academic competitions coming in the spring. The Elementary will be traveling up to Green Bay, WI to participate in the WACS Elementary Fine Arts competition and the Jr / Sr High school will be traveling to Oshkosh WI to compete in the ACE Student Convention. Each event will challenge our students to work at events such as art, music, drama, photography, and academics. Parents are encouraged to travel up and watch as their students participate against many all over the state. There are many opportunities for you student to get involved. This year the Elementary Coordinator is Mrs. Krause and she will have all the information needed for event registration. Mr. Shaeffer and Mr. Martin will be the Jr & Sr High resource for the ACE Student Convention registration. Donʼt wait until the last minute to have you students prepare for their specific competitions. We want to represent TBS very well this year as always!
CITY LIGHTS QUARTET Singing Valentine for your special someone!
Valentines Day is just around the corner and there are many different ways to celebrate the love your share with your special someone. This year we are offering a deal through CITY LIGHTS QUARTET. City Lights will sing three love songs to your special someone and provide a flower and candy all for the price of $40.00! This is better than the cheap card and same-o-same-o dinner and flowers you usually give, RIGHT? Take your loved one out to eat and let us come and serenade you at the restaurant in front of everybody - Its a blast to watch and be a part of. Give City Lights a call to book your February 14th event. Space is limited so donʼt delay! (first come first served)

Are we trapped by our own greed? Like a monkey that sees a banana in a container, sticks his hand in the small opening and grabs the banana only to find out that he cannot get his hand and the banana out. Why? There isnʼt enough room to get past the opening. If he would just let go of the banana he could get free from the trap.
There is a lesson for us. Do we refuse to let go of something that entraps us and keeps us from getting free, because of the strong desire to have that item? We can avoid being ensnared by lifeʼs traps by clinging to Godʼs wisdom. Following God will not only lead you to safety but you will not be left with lasting regrets by not letting go.

TBS Annual Auction
Folks, we are getting down to the last few weeks before our annual auction. We are down in our donations this year and we could use any help you are willing to give.
Please continue to keep them and the auction in your prayers. God is in control - all we have to do is trust in Him to provide. Auction date: Friday, January 27th, 6:00 pm at the Holiday Inn.
Donations must be in the school NO LATER THAN MONDAY JAN. 23RD. Any donations made after that date will not be guaranteed to be placed into the auction.
